My best friend

Allie is one of the special creatures in my life who has touched my heart, at first we were off to a ruff start, but now two years later, we have bonded and now know each other by heart. I am in 4-H and taking Sharon Backman's dog class. We have taken the class before so she is already trained almost perfectly.

I don't have a picture of her at the moment but she is a boxer, Labrador pitbull mix and I got her for my 11th birthday and she was in the pound and only had one week left to live, she was abandoned and very scared when we first took her out, it was love at first sight, I was walking around in the pound choosing one to take on a walk, I first looked at a sheep dog mix in his cage and said "I want to check that one!" But somehow managed to keep moving on, and thats when I saw her, curled up in a perfect ball and looking at me like, "Please get me out of this horrible place" I took her out and decided she's the one for me.

Hurry!

Hurry, We have to do something! They are taking our wild horses away from there freedom and famlies, I can't believe someone would actually do something like that! I just read online, there was a lady who was behind a truck in her car and she saw something leaking from it, so she followed it and there was a dead horse in it just being taken away from it's heard.
We have to do everything we can to save these things from falling apart in this world. Kids being put to work, horses being rounded up, dogs and cats being abandoned.

Splash

There is a horse that lives next door to us, and My sisters and I call her Splash she has slashes of paint on her and it looks so pretty! She can be nippy though. She seems to be hungry all the time :)

Gary got home today from a long trip it looks like, I think he might'a went hunt"in. I am not ready for Winter, right when we move in the weather begins to get chilly. I want it to be as warm as Summer so we can ride horses in warm weather. My birthday is coming, five days after Halloween! I'm excited to celebrate it but Not excited to be turning thirteen. I don't wanna be a teenager. I wanna be 12 forever, I want everything to "stay gold". "Stay Gold" as in, stay the same. I want anybody to grow up and (or) leave us. Daniel is gone all the time, always busy or tired. I don't think things will ever be the same again. There will never a day where he is home and just the same as he use to be, thats why I don't want to grow up I want to be with my family at home, having fun, playing games or anything. I feel like I'm going to fall on my face and wake up in a hospital bed. I miss Daniel being home all the time.
